Self Leadership
In a world of constant change—AI, evolving roles, and shifting career paths—technical skills alone are no longer enough. In fact, over 70% of employers now prioritize durable (human) skills such as communication, adaptability, and self-leadership. Our curriculum builds the awareness and agency to navigate their careers with intention. From managing up and across, to working across generations, to leveraging AI as a tool, not a threat, this experience equips professionals to translate everyday work into meaningful growth and opportunity. The curriculum (which serves as standalone topics) includes:
1. Personal Ownership & Accountability
In today’s workplace, where roles are dynamic and expectations continue to evolve, personal ownership and accountability are critical to strong performance. Individuals who take responsibility for their work, decisions, and outcomes are better positioned to build trust, deliver results, and contribute meaningfully to their teams.
Participants build the awareness, discipline, and clarity needed to take ownership of their role, follow through on commitments, and align their efforts with team and organizational priorities.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will be able to:
Clarify expectations and define what success looks like in their role
Take ownership of responsibilities, priorities, and outcomes
Build habits that support consistency, focus, and follow-through
Demonstrate accountability in day-to-day decisions, actions, and results
2. Managing Up and Across
In matrixed and fast-moving organizations, success depends on the ability to influence without authority. Yet many professionals are not formally trained in this skill. In this workshop, participants learn how to build trust and communicate effectively across levels.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will be able to:
Build strong working relationships with managers and peers
Communicate priorities and expectations clearly
Influence outcomes across teams and stakeholders
3. Working Effectively Across Generations
Generational diversity is one of the defining features of today’s workforce. With up to five generations working side by side, differences in communication styles, expectations, and approaches to work can either create friction or drive stronger collaboration and innovation when understood and leveraged effectively.
This workshop helps participants build the awareness and skills to navigate generational differences with intention. Participants learn practical strategies to communicate effectively, strengthen working relationships, and collaborate across perspectives to enhance team performance.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will be able to:
Recognize and interpret generational differences in the workplace
Adapt communication and collaboration styles across diverse perspectives
Foster inclusive, high-performing collaboration across generations
4. Strengthening Emotional Intelligence at Work
In today’s workplace, where collaboration, communication, and change are constant, emotional intelligence is a critical driver of effectiveness. Professionals who understand and manage their emotions, while recognizing the perspectives of others, are better equipped to navigate challenges, build trust, and contribute to strong team dynamics.
Participants build the awareness and regulation skills needed to manage reactions, respond thoughtfully, and engage effectively across a range of workplace situations.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will be able to:
Increase awareness of their emotional triggers and behavioral patterns
Apply strategies to manage emotions and respond with intention
Strengthen empathy and awareness of others’ perspectives
Enhance individual effectiveness and contribute to stronger team performance
